According to Swiss Diamond's manufacturing documentation, CXD bodies are cast from 100% recycled aluminium in a hydroelectric-powered facility.

XD+ and HD use a PTFE-based nonstick coating reinforced with diamond crystals, on a cast-aluminium body. Standard pieces suit gas, electric and ceramic cooktops. Pieces with "Induction" in the name also work on induction.
XD+ Nonstick
Swiss Diamond states the XD coating contains 20% more diamond crystals than the earlier HD coating.
